While Islamist extremism remains the primary terror threat to the United Kingdom (UK), the threat from extreme right-wing (XRW) terrorism has both evolved and increased in recent years. XRW terrorists have been responsible for roughly a third of successful attack and a quarter of disrupted plots since 2017.
