Since 2003 Pool Re Terrorism Cover has included ‘damage’ caused by an Act of Terrorism that involves the use of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear means (CBRN). Property insurance policies invariably exclude such claims from non-terrorist actors but where the reinsurance is provided by Pool Re policyholders can include CBRN in their terrorism cover.
